Isaac Albéniz, whose full name is Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz y Pascual, was born in 1860 in Camprodon, province of Girona, Spain.

At the age of 7, Albéniz was denied admission to the Paris Conservatoire due to his young age, even though he displayed exceptional talent.
His first published work, a military march for piano, was released in 1868 when he was just 8 years old. By the age of 10, Albéniz was already touring Spain with solo concerts.
